 Project Communications Analyst Internship Job Description
 
In partnership with the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC), the 
CUNY Institute for Software Design and Development (CISDD) has an exciting 
internship position available for CUNY students. The program allows 
students to receive practical hands-on training and experience while 
assisting HHC in achieving their long-term technical objectives. The 
internship will be at HHC offices in NYC and the position is categorized 
as a Project Communications Analyst intern.  Although the location is at 
HHC, this is considered an on-campus position.
 
Necessary Qualifications:
 
Current CUNY registered student
Available to work part-time 19 or 28 hrs/week 
Authorized to work under INS laws for on-campus jobs
Must have excellent communication skills
 
Work responsibilities 
 
Data Center Consolidation (DCC) Project Communications Analyst: 
 
An integral member of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, this 
individual will work very closely with all DCO team members and DCC team 
leads and will be responsible for updating and maintaining all 
communications regarding the DCC Project, as well as the following: 
 
* Act as the primary Liaison with HHC Web Master for all DCC 
communications
* Manage and Maintain the DCC project intranet page content
* Manage and Maintain the Data Center Operations (DCO) e-update, a 
bi-weekly update to the IT division on the data center operation 
activities occurring to support the data center consolidation project. 
* Maintaining the DCO Policy and Process Procedures web content and share 
library repository (storage) 
 
The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and 
communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft (especially, PowerPoint, 
Word and Excel spreadsheets) and be able to work under deadlines. Front 
Page/Dream Weaver, web-publishing and content management skills a plus.
 
Pay Rate:
 
·        $14-$16 per hour
