Summer internship in the Department of Clinical Information Systems, 
Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
 
The intern will be working with the project manager on the Information 
Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) project. It can be a full-time 
position (35 hrs/wk) for three months or part-time position (20 hrs/wk) 
for about 6 months. The pay rate is $12-15/hour, based on the experiences, 
skills, and knowledge.
 
The project is to implement an information management system for service 
management, problem/incident management, change management, and knowledge 
management. Currently we are at the stage of planning the project and hope 
to start the implementation in about 2 months.
 
The minimum qualifications for the position are:
 
-          Postgraduate program student or senior/junior college student 
in Information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or 
Engineering
-          Great documentation knowledge and experience. Standard 
Operational Procedure (SOP) experience is desired
-          Web application design and development knowledge and experience
-          Content management knowledge and experience
-          Relational database knowledge
-          Experience with database management systems such as MS SQL 
Server, Oracle, MySQL, or Access is highly desired
-          Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
and the ability to work in a team environment
-          Project management knowledge, skills, and experiences would be 
a big plus
